This is not the time to sit on the fence. This is not the time to be economical with the truth. Whether you are a leader or a follower, you must speak up and speak clearly.
This issue of CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE in Nigeria is an issue that concerns all of us. Whether you have been directly affected by it or not, it concerns you.
Do not keep quiet because it has not affected you directly. I tell you, it will affect you soon. Do not keep quiet because you are benefiting from the Islamic Federal Government of Nigeria now, this Islamic Federal Government will not be here for too long.
Do not deny genocide in Nigeria because of N150,000.00 ($100.00) special assistant monthly salary. That’s less than what Judas accepted to betray Jesus. Do not deny genocide because of what you are benefitting or hoping to benefit from this Islamic Federal Government of Nigeria. You may live to regret it.
There is CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE in Nigeria. This is true and it does not negate other insecurity facts in Nigeria. The Islamic terr0rists also kill other muslims that do not agree with them. This is also true.
But denying Christian genocide in Nigeria because the terrorists also kill other muslims is illogical and uncharitable. Two truths can co-exist.
Christian Genocide in Nigeria is real and I strongly encourage not only Donald Trump but also other world leaders to intervene and help wipe out the Islamic terrorists killing Christians in Nigeria because the Islamic Federal Government of Nigeria is incapable of stopping these terrorists for obvious reasons.
You don’t expect a muslim president and a muslim vice president to fight muslim terrorists, do you?
Nigerian Christians and honest muslims have moral duties to speak up and use their good positions to wipe out these Islamic terrorists.
As a Catholic priest, I am calling on fellow Catholics home and abroad to speak up: Catholic bishops, priests, deacons, knights, lay men and women. If you have not made it clear on your social media handles that Christian genocide is real in Nigeria, then you are not prophetic. If you are a priest (home or abroad) and you are not educating your parishioners from the pulpit about the reality of Christian genocide in Nigeria, then you are not living up to your pastoral role as a priest.
Get out of WhatsApp groups and go to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc, and take a position on the issue of Christian genocide in Nigeria. Those abroad, write to your legislators out there and let them know that there is Christian genocide in your country.
Together, we can save not only Christians but also our innocent muslim brothers and Sisters often targeted by these Islamic terrorists.
