The Imo State House of Assembly on Wednesday screened and confirmed two Commissioner nominees recommended by the state Governor, Hope Uzodimma.
C-Advocate reports that the two nominees are Mr Benard Ikewuoha and Dr Chioma Egu.
The Speaker of the House, Mr Chike Olemgbe (Ihitte Uboma) announced that the governor had earlier sent the names of the commissioner nominees for screening and confirmation.
He also stated that the nominees had been screened and confirmed by the assembly in an executive session preceding the plenary session .
Olemgbe therefore directed the Clerk, Mrs Chinelo Emeghara, to convey the decision of the House to the governor.
