The Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy and Ethics (CSAAE) has felicitated Prof. Lucian Chukwu over his recent appointment by the Federal Government as the substantive Vice-Chancellor of Admiralty University, Ibuzor, Delta state.
C-Advocate reports that Chukwu was, on Friday, given the appointment as conveyed in a notice of appointment signed by the Minister of Education, Prof. Tunji Alausa.
Chukwu, the Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees of the CSAAE, was among other candidates who participated in a selection exercise for the varsity’s VC organised organized by the institution’s governing council on February 26 and 27.
At the end of the exercise, Chukwu emerged as the highest scorer with 83.41% among the five interviewed candidates.
In line with the principle of merit being upheld by the federal government, Alausa, has approved the appointment of Professor Lucian O. Chukwu as the substantive Vice-Chancellor of Admiralty University, Ibuzor for a single tenure of five years with effect from 28th February, 2025.
The entire CSAAE community led by the Executive Director, Fr God’swill Agbagwa, commends the Federal Government for finding one of their own worthy to occupy the coveted office.
The CSAAE pledges continued commitment to promoting the quest basic education and healthcare in Nigeria, among other essential services.
The CSAAE also pledges its unalloyed support for tall good policies of government at all levels, and a readiness to collaborate with the Federal Ministry of Education and the Admiralty University to promote education for the youth and school aged children in Nigeria.
