The Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE) , a Non Governmental Organization (NGO), has launched its Back-to-School Pack initiative.
The initiative was launched at the grand finale of CSAAE’s 10th anniversary celebrations in Owerri, on Saturday.
C-Advocate reports that the anniversary was not just a reflection of a decade of impact but also the launch of an initiative close to many hearts, the Back-to-School Pack, a transformative Initiative under the Centre’s Primary Education Program (C-EDU).
Executive Director of the CSAAE, Rev. Fr Dr Godswill Agbagwa noted during the event that the initiative was aimed at ensuring that every child receives the quality education they deserve.
“Yet, as we work closely with primary school students, we continue to see a pressing challenge: while free education is offered in public schools, many underprivileged children lack the basic resources to truly benefit from it.
From torn uniforms, to worn-out sandals, and the absence of essential school materials, children in rural areas find it difficult to learn, thrive, and chase their dreams, even though they are intelligent and full of potential.
This reality inspired the Back-to-School Pack Initiative, a comprehensive solution to bridge this gap.
“ Each pack provides the vital materials a child needs for an entire academic year, ensuring they not only return to school but stay equipped to excel.
“ With great joy, we officially launched this initiative during our anniversary celebration, inviting sponsors, donors, and partners to join us in creating opportunities for these deserving children.
Together, we can transform lives and empower a brighter future, one Back-to-School Pack at a time “, he said.
